Meet the Founders

We were united by our shared experiences and a vow to never again contort ourselves to fit into structures of inequity and systemic discrimination.

We first met over a video conference, having both left the same company (though our tenures didn't overlap). In our previous environment, we struggled to navigate a culture steeped in systemic inequities.

Optimistic about working at a mission-driven organization, we embraced the opportunity to share the superpower of coaching across corporate levels. As the company evolved, so did we, supporting each other to avoid burnout and isolation.

Our friendship and mutual support came from a place of deep caring and empathy – real and authentic to the core. When the day came that we both decided it was time to move on to work independently, we continued to be each other's cheerleaders and thought partners. We had no idea we’d eventually go into business together! Our complementary strengths and shared values sparked a partnership focused on promoting inclusive leadership.

Would we miss regular pay cheques? YES. Was this venture bold and risky? OH YES! Were we ready to help others build truly inclusive spaces? HELL YES.

And so, the Inclusive Leadership Studio was born.
